We recently undertook a project for a large electrical contractors who needed Solar PV at their worksite, but wanted to be able to move the Solar PV equipment to another site once their current 3 year project was completed.
The solution in this case involved Solar Structures designing, fabricating and installing a solution that would be easily deployable on-site with minimal risk and would be moveable in the future to their next site. There were two separate structures to be developed, one based on our own customised ballast blocks. These blocks are easily lifted and dropped into place giving the client usable space underneath. In this case the structure is being used to protect equipment from the elements. The second structure was designed to fit onto their pre-existing site offices in a way that the entire solar PV structure could be prepared off-site and easily lifted into position.
